Inspiration. Education. Conservation.

Founded in 2016, Sea the Change was established as a senior Capstone project within the Silver Creek Leadership Academy in Longmont, Colorado. Since then, Sea the Change has become a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. StC uses a youth-to-youth approach to connect classrooms with marine scientists from around the nation. We want to give every student the opportunity to experience the ocean, no matter how far away they might be. Sea the Change aims to educate others about what they can do to preserve marine life, along with pairing with classrooms to not only educate students, but inspire them to catalyze change, one wave at a time.
